GOODBYE PRINCESS

I have a little 14 year old neighbor who comes over occasionally and watches movies with me and eats.... a lot.

I usually let her select the movie.

And tonight she selected "Singing In The Rain."



With Gene Kelly, and Debbie Reynolds.





So I didn't tell her until the movie was completely over, that the character of Kathy Selden, was played by Carrie Fisher's mom.

It made both her and I a little sad.




It's always difficult when a parent outlives their child.
